the Bandit Ref blog will be on hiatus for the foreseeable future. I have been helping my church here in Jacksonville Florida prepare to send a relief team to the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham areas. My church has experience having sent chainsaw and roof repair teams in after Katrina, to Haiti, and to Costa Rica. I will be traveling with the team and helping as much as I can, we hope to head up Tuesday morning. I have no experience being on a chainsaw team but will do what I am told and learn. We are taking donations at Crossroad Church in Jacksonville Florida on Sunday and Monday. We are not accepting food or clothing items though. A short list of the items we are asking for:
Tarps
Nails
Chainsaws
Plywood
Chainsaw Oil
Batteries
Flashlights
Tools
If you know any Bama Alum's in Jacksonville Florida tell them to go get some of these items and bring them to Crossroad Church. We are going to take as much as we can.
As for the Bandit Ref blog it will be back, I was already working on a redesign. The blog will feature more cartoons and humor than before and less serious stuff. It's not time to laugh yet, but it will be in a couple weeks. God bless everyone who has helped in this tragedy.
